The technical bit.

In descending order the outputs are 1.3A, 2.1, 1A, 1A and 0.5A.

Blue
lights indicate roughly the amount of power remaining External battery charger for samsung galaxy, and blink
synchronously when charging. To charge it, you will need a micro USB.
It takes roughly a day to charge on a 0.5A charger, quicker with higher
output chargers.
It has one smallish recessed button to turn it on.

WARNING: it does NOT come with a wall charger.
Personal perspective:
I bought this because it had 5 outputs, and in this day and age, you need
to charge a lot of devices, especially when traveling. I think the
printing on the input and the outputs needs to be larger. I have great
vision and I struggle to read it, hence why I put the descending order
of the outputs.

The lack of a separate charger is not a problem
for me, I actually prefer it; one less charger to lug. I have another
power pack with two outputs. That one has a wall charger, so I just
charge this power pack from the 2.1A output of that one, and charge that
one at the same time. It is some much faster. On a recent trip, all
my devices (tablet, 5 phones, iPod, portable speaker - I rotated them)
and power packs were fully charged by morning.

The button is
slightly smallish, make sure it comes on when you press it. It's also
recessed, that way it's not likely to get turned on accidentally.
Plug at least one device mini sized external battery in first! If you turn it on, it will turn off within 10 seconds if nothing is attached.
The one thing that I think would make this perfect is if it had a higher
capacity. That being said, 11,000 is quite good, plus my other one has
12,000. I prefer the long haul, non-stop flights between Europe and the
EU. I'm not running out of power.
