Lumsing 6000mah Ultra Slim Portable Power Bank External Battery Pack Bac...
The Lumsing 6000mAh External battery for ipad charger is one of the smaller portable battery chargers that I've used. With an advertised capacity of 6000mAh, it's not intended for real heavy use, but the tradeoff is the portability. The battery is only 4.9"x2.6"x0.4", and weighing only 6.6 ounces, it's no burden to carry it in a backpack or purse.
After charging the Lumsing to 100%, I used it to recharge my Kindle Fire HD 7" tablet and my Moto X phone, both of which were turned off during charging. In about 2½ hours, the Lumsing's battery was completely discharged; the Kindle Fire's charge was increased from 13% to 68% from the 2.1A outlet, and the phone's charge was increased from 13% to 90% from the 1.0A outlet. With the Kindle Fire's 4400mAh battery, that's an increase of 2,420 mAh; with the Moto X's 2200mAh battery, it's an increase of 1,694mAh,for a total increase of 4,114mAh. Dividing 4,114 by the Lumsing's 6000mAh capacity gives an electrical efficiency of 69%. That's actually very good for a small portable battery charger, since actual capacity is always significantly lower than the advertised capacity. (In a recent study of portable battery chargers, The Wirecutter - an electronic testing group - found the tested chargers' efficiencies ranged from 53-69 percent.) That's because using one battery to charge another battery is an inherently inefficient process, with a number of variables that affect efficiency. Doing a little more arithmetic, the Lumsing's 5V/2.1A output was recharging my Kindle Fire HD at about 1000mAh per hour, while the 5V/1.0A output was recharging my Moto X at about 700mAh per hour. Afterwards, I recharged the light weight external battery exhausted battery charger from an AC wall charger (5V/1.0A), which took about 6 hours.

Lumsing Harmonica Style Power Bank External Battery for iPhone iPad
When you are away from the office for an extended time, it is often useful to have a portable battery with you. And nowadays, when many of us have both an iPhone and an iPad, it is even more useful to have a battery that is designed to work with either one. Because the iPad has such a large battery, when you carry an external backup battery that works with the iPad, you always need to balance capacity versus the size and weight and cost of that battery. The Lumsing 10400 mAh Harmonica Style Portable Power Bank strikes the right balance — large and heavy enough to get the job done, but small and sleek enough that you won't mind carrying it with you. Lumsing sent me a free unit to review, and I have been testing it for the last week. I like it a lot. This looks like a great battery to toss in your briefcase or purse.
Design and Features:
My main concern with an external battery is simply that it work well, but since you are going to carry this thing around a lot, it is nice to have something that has a pleasing design. I was very impressed with this device. As the "Harmonica" in the name implies, this device is shaped like a long rectangular box which is curved on one long end and is tapered on the other.
The Lumsing Power Bank is about 5.5 inches long, almost 2.5 inches deep, and is about .8 inches high.
The curve on one of the long sides of this device makes it feel good when you hold it in your hand. A minor feature perhaps, but one that I liked.
The device weighs 8.35 oz. (An iPhone 5S weighs 4 oz; an iPhone 4S weighs 4.9 oz.) You probably won't notice 8.35 oz. in a purse or briefcase, but you'll definitely notice it if you slip it into the pocket of your pants.
The power banks tapered end contains most of the inputs and controls. First, there are two ports, one which provides 1 Amp and one that provides 2.1 Amps. You can use either port with an iPhone, and as noted below, you will get a slightly faster charge with the 2.1 Amp output. For an iPad Air, you'll want to use the 2.1 Amp port.

Lumsing PBJ-6200 Power Bank-A stylish phone charging external battery
I phone chargers my iPhone 5s every night -- it's pretty much a standard routine. Although people moan about the iPhone's battery life, I have no complaints. In fact my old Samsung Galaxy S III needed charging more regularly. But every so often a little extra battery boost is required, which is fine if I'm at home, but less convenient when I'm out and about (and I have no interest in being a wall hugger). This is where an external battery pack can come in handy.
Lumsing's PBJ-6200 Power Bank has already proven to be a life saver in the couple of weeks I've had it. The device is roughly the same dimensions as my phone -- 4.88x 2.64 x 0.51 inches (124 x 67 x13 mm) -- and has a 6,000mAh capacity, which is enough to charge my iPhone about three times (a Galaxy S4 twice, or an iPad mini once).
It weighs 6.49 oz/186g and offers a 1.5A microUSB port for charging (it comes with a cable for connecting to a PC or USB adapter, but there's no wall charger included), and two USB out ports -- one 1A port and one rated at 2.1A, so it's suitable for charging all manner of devices. It's even powerful enough to charge two devices at the same time.
It's stylishly designed, with an aluminum alloy shell, and four blue LEDs on the side which indicate the charge level when you hit the silver power button. Four lit LEDs equals 100 percent charge, three and one flashing is 75-100 percent, two and one flashing is 50-75 percent, one and one flashing is 25-50 percent and one flashing is less than 10 percent.
Charging the Power Bank is just a matter of plugging it in and clicking the power button. Two LEDs flash sequentially, showing it's charging.
While it's difficult to get too excited about a battery pack laptop charger, the PBJ-6200 Power Bank is very stylishly designed, and smartly packaged. And, it comes at a price it's hard to argue with. If you need to charge a phone or tablet when you're away from a plug socket, it offers the perfect solution.
